FAQ

Common Questions

How much home loan can I get?

It depends on your income, existing EMIs, credit score and the property value. As per RBI guidelines, banks usually fund up to 90 percent of the property value for loans up to Rs 30 lakh, up to 80 percent for loans between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 75 lakh and up to 75 percent above Rs 75 lakh.

What credit score do I need?

Most banks prefer a CIBIL score of 750 or above for their best interest rates. A lower score can still get a loan, often at a slightly higher rate.

Can I get a loan for an under construction property?

Yes. For RERA registered projects, banks release the loan in stages as construction progresses. You pay interest only on the amount released.

How long does approval take?

Usually 7 to 15 working days once all documents are submitted, depending on the bank and the property.
